Oldsmobile Cutlass
The Oldsmobile Cutlass is a line of cars made by the Oldsmobile division of Normal Motors. The Cutlass began as a unibody compact automotive, but noticed its greatest success as a body-on-frame intermediate car.
Launched in 1961 as the highest trim degree in Olds' compact F-eighty five line, through the years the Cutlass identify accrued great model fairness, and became probably the most popular nameplates within the business within the 1970s.[citation needed] By the Eighties, Oldsmobile was using the Cutlass as a sub-marque, with quite a lot of completely different car traces bearing the identify simultaneously. These included the Cutlass Calais compact, the midsize Cutlass Ciera, the Cutlass Cruiser station wagon, and the premium midsize Cutlass Supreme.
